Typically, there will be about 7 minutes at the end of lab period dedicated to cleaning up. In order for the lab to function properly and efficiently, certain responsibilities will be delegated to different lab groups each lab period. One partner should manage the clean up task while the other cleans up their own work station. FAILURE TO PERFORM THE TASK MAY RESULT IN THE LOSS OF A LETTER GRADE ON LAB REPORT. The following is a list of tasks that will be assigned.

CLEAN UP TASKS:

1. Check and arrange as needed the lab instruction sheet by tracking number.

2. Check and arrange as needed the lab reports by tracking number.

3. Check and supervise to see that all microscopes are being put away     properly and in the correct location OR or that experiments are put on     the window sill.

4. Check and supervise to see that all microscope slides are being put away     in the correct location OR that all equipment is put away on the side     bench.

5. Check to see that nothing is left on the floor and supervise nearby lab     group(s) in cleaning up.

6. Check to see that nothing is left on the benches and supervise nearby lab     group(s) in cleaning up.

7. Check to see that nothing is left in or by the sink AND check and arrange     the ruler cabinet as needed.
